We are proud to be able to offer Official ACL Cornhole boards & Bags.
This is a sport that is on the rise in popularity because it can be played anywhere, anytime by anyone! How great is that!
Why is it called "Cornhole" because you throw a Corn filled bag into a 6" hole- Simple enough right?
Cornhole can be just backyard fun or you can get serious and take things to the next level and compete against others.
Basic Rules of the game
Object of the game:
Be the first team to reach (or exceed) a score of 21 points.
- Cornhole Boards: There are Rec boards, Comp boards, Mini Boards but the standard board size is 2' x 4' with a 6" hole that is positioned in the center 9" from the top of the board.
- Cornhole Bags: There are all kinds of bags out there, but they should be 6" x 6" and weight 1 pound.
How far apart should the boards be:
- 24' from front edge of the board to the other board. However if you are new to the game, kids, seniors or physically impaired you can move them 12-15' apart in order to enjoy the game.
- Cornhole can be played with 2 or 4 people. 4 people would mean 2 on each team.
- You take turns tossing your bag onto the opposite
- Players alternate turns tossing their cornhole bags toward the opposite board.
- After each team has tossed the bags to the opposite board then you take score.
- The team who scored points in the previous round goes first in the next round. If it was tied, the team who went first in the last inning gets to go first again.
- If you get your bag in the hole you get 3 points.
- If you get the bag on the board it is worth 1 point.
- No points if your bag lands on the ground and bounces onto the board.
- Cancellation Scoring: The team with the higher points cancels out the other teams points - for example say Team A scored 6 points and Team B scored 3 points - Then Team A gets 3 points for that round.
